PERMITS FOR FILMING

A temporary use permit (filming permit) is required for all location filming, on both public and private property, in Diamond Bar.

Film permit applications must be filed with FilmL.A. By contract, FilmL.A. is responsible for coordinating and approving on location filming permits within the City of Diamond Bar.

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS

Proof of insurance is required before FilmL.A. can begin processing your permit application. Please refer to the Insurance section of our website for further information.

PERMIT FEES

The City of Diamond Bar does not assess a permit fee to film within its jurisdiction.  Film activity at City-owned properties may generate location fees. Use of City personnel, when required based on requested film activity, will generate personnel fees.  

SPECIAL FORMS

No special forms are required. The FilmL.A. Permit Application includes all of the information about your production and requested activities required to process your permit.
