CLIENT DESCRIPTION

Situated in the eastern section of Los Angeles County, in the San Gabriel Valley, and within the 30-mile zone, the City of Industry is ideally located near the center of a vast five-county population concentration in southern California. Industry, with its wide streets, trees, landscaping, beautiful office buildings, manufacturing and warehouse facilities, is ideally suited for film production use.  The City is home to many attractive, modern structures including the Puente Hills East Business Center, the Crossroads Business Park, and the Pacific Palms Resort and Conference Center.  The Resort covers 650 acres and includes golf courses, swimming pools, a tennis center and other camera-ready amenities.

PERMITS FOR FILMING

A temporary use permit (filming permit) is required for all location filming, on both public and private property, in the City of Industry.

Film permit applications must be filed with FilmL.A. By contract, FilmL.A. is responsible for coordinating and approving on location filming permits within the City of Industry.

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS

Proof of insurance is required before FilmL.A. can begin processing your permit application. Please refer to the Insurance section of our web site for further information. 

PERMIT FEES

The costs to film within the City of Industry are as follows:

• Application Fee:     $150 per permit
• Per-Location Fee:  $50 per location
• Still Photography:   $45 flat (if involving fewer than 15 people)

Please note that these fees are for permits only.  Film activity at City-owned properties may generate location fees. Use of City personnel, when required based on requested film activity, will generate personnel fees.
